PENSACOLA PELICANS MAKE 2010 DEBUT ON CST ON SATURDAY NIGHT

Pelicans to appear on the network for the fifth consecutive season

NEW ORLEANS – Cox Sports Television has announced today its three-game television schedule for the Pensacola Pelicans minor league baseball club. The schedule begins with Saturday’s home contest against the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. The game, which will be played at Pelican Park on the campus of the University of West Florida, is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm.

Friday’s contest against the Air Hogs will be the first of three games broadcast by CST. The Pelicans will host the Wichita Wingnuts on July 31 before finishing the broadcast schedule on August 28 against the Fort Worth Cats.

In the booth for CST will be Sean Kelley and Jimmy Frederick for the first contest, while Paul Crane and Nick Belmonte will finish off the final two games of the schedule.

The Pelicans, member of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball and 2009 South Division Champions, play in Pelican Park in Pensacola, but will move to state-of-the-art Maritime Park in the near future.
