NEW ORLEANS – With the 2010 college football season fast approaching, Cox Sports Television (CST) has announced its schedule. CST’s coverage this season will truly have it all for the ultimate college football fan to enjoy.

Highlighting the schedule will again be the LSU Tigers. For the 8th straight year, CST will show full game replays of every Tiger game on Sunday and Wednesday nights beginning with the replay of the season-opener against North Carolina on September 5. Award-winning announcer Lyn Rollins will return with play-by-play duties, while Greg Bowser will man the booth as analyst.

Last fall, CST reached a multiyear agreement with ESPN Regional Television for the rights to Southeastern Conference (SEC) content. Because of that agreement, CST’s schedule will have an SEC flavor with the Ole Miss Rebels hosting Jacksonville State on September 4.

The University of Arkansas will see more coverage on CST this fall following an agreement for CST to air Razorback full game replays every Tuesday night at 7pm and Wednesdays at Noon.

For the second year in a row, the New Orleans-based Sun Belt Conference will be featured on the network. This fall, the Sun Belt Network’s agenda will be comprised of a 12-game schedule that will begin on September 11 with a match up between Arkansas State and Louisiana-Lafayette LIVE at 2:30pm.

CST will once again be home for the entire Jaguar Nation. The Southern Jaguars look to regain SWAC dominance from rival Grambling this season. Southern will be replayed on CST five times this season.

The Gulf South Conference, regarded as the best league in all of Division II, again makes a home on CST. The 2010 season gets kicked-started with Harding vs. West Georgia on September 16.

Other highlights of the schedule include regional favorites Louisiana Tech, Tulane and Southern Mississippi; the Big East Game of the Week; and Notre Dame replays Wednesdays at Noon.

CST Tonight!, the network’s weekly hour-long show hosted by Victor Howell and Paul Crane, continues to be the ultimate highlight show for all college football fans. During the LIVE 60 minutes of coverage, CST Tonight’s stable of reporters will bring the day’s action to a close and begin talks of the next week’s contests.
