COX SPORTS TELEVISION ANNOUNCES DISTRIBUTION GAINS IN ARKANSAS
Suddenlink Communications and Clinton Cable adds regional sports network to lineup!
NEW ORLEANS – Cox Sports Television, Suddenlink Communications and Clinton Cable announced today that the regional sports network has expanded it’s coverage with three new launches in the state of Arkansas. CST is now available on Clinton Cable’s basic lineup, while Suddenlink systems in Cabot and Newport will see a launch of the 24-hour regional sports network Friday, September 16.
Clinton Cable customers are able to view the regional sports network home of the Arkansas Razorbacks on channel 29, while CST will be a part of the digital lineup in Cabot on channel 516 and in Newport on channel 119. These new launches in the state further extend CST’s reach across most of Arkansas. CST is available on all Cox Communications systems, most Suddenlink systems, Community Cable in Monticello, Conway Corporation in Conway and now Clinton Cable.
Late in 2010, CST inked a multi-year extension with the University of Arkansas and Razorback Sports Properties, Inc. to provide extensive coverage to the university’s athletic department. CST Coverage also includes programming from other Arkansas schools including the Sun Belt Conference members Arkansas State and Arkansas-Little Rock.

CST televises over 300 events annually including live coverage of teams from some of the top conferences in the country, including: Big 12, SEC, Big East, Sun Belt, CUSA, SWAC, WAC, Gulf South and the Atlantic Sun. CST offers live studio shows, outdoor programming and the south’s top high school coverage including weekly, live high school football games of the week.
