NEW ORLEANS – Cox Communications Oklahoma and Cox Sports Television announced today that the regional sports network has been added to the Cox lineup in both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City systems. CST is now available on Cox systems serving six states, with total distribution across eight southern states. Cox customers in both systems can now view CST on Cox channel 269. The 24 hour regional sports channel is only available to Cox customers in OKC and Tulsa as the channel isn’t carried on satellite or TELCO distributors.
“We’re excited to add CST to our robust lineup of sports programming right as the Fall football season is heating up," said Cox Oklahoma VP of Field Marketing Mollie Andrews. "CST televises over 350 events annually, including live coverage of teams from some of the top conferences in the country, including Big 12, Conference USA, SEC, Big East and many others. CST takes you where the action is with some of the South’s most exciting sports teams.”
CST boasts live coverage of teams from other top conferences as well, including: Sun Belt, SWAC, WAC, Gulf South and the Atlantic Sun. CST offers live studio shows, outdoor programming and the south’s top high school coverage including weekly, live high school football games of the week.
The addition of CST to the Cox channel offerings in OKC and Tulsa expands the New Orleans based regional sports networks availability in Oklahoma. Last month, Suddenlink Cable announced plans to add CST to their line-ups in several Oklahoma communities including, Stillwater, Enid, Cushing and Drumright.
"We are thrilled to have CST and our teams available in OKC and Tulsa," stated CST Network Head Rod Mickler, "We thank our friends at Cox Oklahoma for making our channel available to the many great sports fans in Oklahoma."
CST’s coverage of the Big 12 Conference includes classic replays of some of the best games in league history, as well as LIVE men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball and selected coach’s shows from Big 12 schools.
Highlights from around the Big 12 will be available on CST Tonight!, the weekly hour show originates each Saturday night live from the CST studios in New Orleans at 10 p.m. Coming soon to Cox Oklahoma customers will be the CST VOD platform, CST Now!
