Cox Launches Campaign Featuring Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets
BATON ROUGE, LA – Cox Communications announced that beginning Monday, March 1, it has launched a multi-market advertising campaign featuring New Orleans Hornets and NBA All Star Chris Paul. The spots will run across Cox cable channels and are available for viewing at http://www.youtube.com/user/Cox4LA#p/u/9/E79DItMaTXs.
“Since joining the NBA and New Orleans Hornets, Chris Paul has proven himself to be a leader both personally and professionally,” said Jacqui Vines, senior vice president and general manager of Cox Louisiana. “His good works in the community and his incredible work ethic makes him a role model and exactly the type of spokesperson we are proud to have endorsing our products and services.”
The new spots are each 30 seconds in length. In one, Paul “faces off” with Cox’s Vines in a competitive challenge. The other two spots – “Mail Call with Chris Paul” feature Paul “answering” customer questions regarding Cox products and services. Paul’s unique charm and candid nature are evident in all three spots.
The campaign was produced by BBR Creative of Lafayette. Vidox, also of Lafayette, filmed the spots at the New Orleans Arena and conducted post-production for the campaign.
